***Downpayment Assistance and Operating in a Governmental Capacity***

As of July 23, 2019 HUD issued FHA Mortgagee Letter [2019-10](https://www.hud.gov/sites/dfiles/OCHCO/documents/19-10hsgml.pdf), which confirms the suspension of the implementation date for Downpayment Assistance requirements for Governmental Entities.  Based on this recent announcement, Mortgagee Letter [2019-06](https://www.hud.gov/sites/dfiles/OCHCO/documents/19-06hsgml.pdf) is suspended until further notice.
