Gateway is aligning with Fannie (FNMA) and Freddie Mac (FHLMC) regarding the Very Low-Income Purchase (VLIP) Mortgages Program, which will end February 28, 2026.  This change impacts HomeReady and Home Possible loan products.

Gateway is aligning with **Fannie (FNMA)** and **Freddie Mac (FHLMC)** regarding the **Very Low-Income Purchase (VLIP) Mortgages Program**, which will **end February 28, 2026**. This change impacts **HomeReady **and **Home Possible** loan products. 

**Key Details:**

- The VLIP Program will no longer be available after **February 28, 2026**
- Gateway will require **VLIP loans to be purchased by January 31, 2026**, to allow sufficient time for delivery to the applicable agency
