VLIP (Very Low-Income Program) Credit being reinstated

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac recently announced that they will be reinstating the $2,500 Home Possible and Home Ready VLIP Mortgage Credit effective March 1st, 2026, through February 28th, 2027. This is a reversal from their initial announcement in January that they would be sunsetting the program on February 28th, 2026.
