Gateway Mortgage Group, LLC will allow electronic signatures for FHA loans on select documents for applications taken on or after 2/10/14.  The documents where E-Signatures are allowed include the initial 1003 loan application and initial disclosures.  The change in policy affects borrower signatures.  Loan originators are not permitted to electronically sign the 1003 loan application.  Lender must comply with HUD Mortgagee Letter 2014-03.

Electronic signatures must be in accordance with the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN) and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA), as applicable.
