Tax Transcripts & Income Validation

Gateway Mortgage Group’s Correspondent division provides the following information for loans where 2012 income is used for AUS qualification. If 2012 tax transcripts are not available before April 15, 2013, please follow the applicable path below.

Salaried Borrowers

• Provide 2012 W-2s

• Provide 2012 W-2 Transcript(s) OR 2012 1040 Transcript

• If neither 2012 Transcript is available,provide all ofthe following:
  
  

  • 2012 W-2s

  • 2011 W-2s

  • 2011 W-2 Transcript(s) OR 2011 Tax Transcript(s)

Self-Employed/Commissioned/Bonus (>25%)

• If borrower has filed a 2012 tax return but the 2012 1040 Transcript is not available, obtain:
  
  

  • 2011 filed Tax Return

  • 2011 1040 Transcript

  • 2012 filed IRS Tax Return verified in one of the following ways:
    
    

    • IRS stamped Tax Return OR

    • Evidence the Tax Return was electronically received by IRS OR

    • Evidence of a refund check or payment has been made from/to IRS
