Jared has more than 20 years of experience in the mortgage banking industry. He joined Gateway’s Correspondent Division in early 2012 as a Regional Sales Manager. His extensive experience in correspondent lending helps him understand the challenges and opportunities clients face today. Since those early years, Jared’s leadership, mortgage, and sales experience, combined with a phenomenal ability to grow relationships and build teams has enabled him to serve as the SVP of Mortgage & Correspondent Ops Production. Jared prides himself in delivering first-class service and a hands-on approach to every relationship.
Jared began his career as a mortgage banking professional at PrimeLending in the summer of 2002, while attending his alma-mater, SMU, where he studied advertising. Since then, he has worked for some of the nation’s largest mortgage bankers, including Countrywide, Bank of America, and Nationstar. During this time, Jared gained experience in mortgage banking including correspondent, warehouse, and retail lending with direct experience as a Mortgage Technologist.
In 2011, Jared graduated from the School of Mortgage Banking, earning the accredited mortgage professional designation (AMP). Following this achievement, he solidified his commitment to mortgage banking by earning the highest professional designation for the real estate finance industry, as a certified mortgage banker (CMB).
Jared resides in Frisco, Texas with his wife and three kids and enjoys spending time with his family and church as well as outdoor activities including golf, skiing, and hunting.
